Xbox Wire confirms Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, cloud, Steam, and PlayStation 5. The game is included with Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. Xbox play anywhere: yes.

Gameplay overview
Official descriptions frame Fable as an immersive open-world action RPG where choices shape the Hero’s journey and reputation. Combat combines melee, ranged, and magical options, while reputation affects relationships with Albion’s inhabitants.
The Living Population system is described as More than 1,000 NPCs.

Fable returns to Albion as a new beginning for the series, with the player taking the role of the first Hero in a generation. The world is built around choice, reputation, relationships, and consequences.

Download and availability
Pre-orders are open. Premium Edition includes up to five days of early access, a content pack, digital artbook and soundtrack, and the post-launch Order of the Hero expansion.
System / Device Requirements
The current Steam listing publishes a concrete Windows minimum and requires an SSD. This is more useful than older preview-era estimates because it reflects the live pre-purchase page for the 2027 release.
The minimum tier calls for 12 GB RAM, DirectX 12, and 135 GB of storage. Steam currently exposes only a partial recommended entry, so this profile does not invent a complete recommended build where the store has not published one.
