What Counts As Official
Developer and publisher blogs, in-game announcements, official storefront pages (Steam, App Store, Google Play, console stores), and verified official social accounts are treated as primary sources. Community wikis, forums, and unverified reposts are only used to point toward a primary source, never as the source itself.
Images & Media
Hero images and screenshots are used for identification and commentary purposes. Game titles, logos, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective developers and publishers. If a rights holder has a concern about a specific image, the DMCA page explains how to reach out.
When Sources Conflict
If official sources disagree or a detail hasn't been confirmed directly by the developer or publisher, the page tries to flag that instead of picking a side silently.
